During the Black Friday shopping event Sony brought in huge profits with their PS4 bundles. Sony bundled the PS4 Slim edition with the popular PlayStation exclusive title, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and the bundled was available for a $50 discount. That led Sony to sell over 50 million PS4 units during Black Friday. With that being said, it’s completely understandable that Sony wants recreate that success and to do that the company will bring out the same deal starting December 11th and ending on December 24th.
PS4 Uncharted Bundle
The bundle can be acquired for the price of only $.249.99 and it contains a copy of the popular Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End game alongside a PS4 Slim 500GB model and a DualShock 4 controller. The game comes right in time since the cooperative solo mode DLC will come out this month. One of the reasons why Uncharted 4 is such a widely popular game is because this is the last installment in the Uncharted franchise and players will never get a chance again to play in Drake’s shoes. Also worth mentioning is that this deal is only available for U.S. and Canadian residents.
Sony dominates Microsoft
Sony managed to sell over 50 million of units during the Black Friday thus making the console the most sold Black Friday item. On the other hand, Microsoft’s goal was to sell 30 million units during the shopping event, but reports are showing that they didn’t even come close to that number. Microsoft actually doesn’t want to disclose the real number of sold units because that would show how big is the gap between the two rival companies and that will only put the Xbox One at a disadvantage, but everybody knows that Sony always comes out on top, at least in the sales department.
